Always up to date, this course is designed to meet the Arizona biennial four-hour ethics CPE requirement for CPAs renewing their licenses. In addition to meeting Arizona State Board of Accountancy requirements, the course includes materials and examples designed to reinforce the CPA’s working knowledge of professional ethics standards. Calendar year 2014 was a transition year for the AICPA Code of Professional Conduct. The Ethics Codification Project has fashioned a dramatically different Code, restructured so that users can apply the rules and reach correct conclusions more easily and intuitively. The revised Code has been adopted and was effective December 15, 2014.
To reinforce knowledge that will allow a CPA to: Identify promulgated standards, state accountancy laws and other resources necessary to making informed ethical accounting and business decisions; Apply the newly adopted AICPA Code of Professional Conduct to both public practice and business situations; Familiarize participants with the new conceptual frameworks and their use; Fulfill responsibilities as required by the Arizona State Board of Accountancy
